Slingbar design and geometry are decisive for the patient’s sitting posture. Normally, a four-point slingbar (or Sling Cross-bar) enables a more semi-reclined sitting posture than a two-point slingbar.
With a wider slingbar, the patient’s arms are held inside the sling, while with a narrower slingbar, the patient holds his or her arms outside the sling.
In connection with the introduction of the new Viking series of mobile lifts, a new series of aluminium slingbars was introduced. In addition to practical and appealing design, our aluminium slingbars have a lifting capacity of 300 kg / 660 lbs. All of our slingbars are equipped with an ultra-reliable safety latch.
Several of our new slingbar models are available with factory-mounted Quick-release Hooks that enable fast and easy connection of scales or exchange of slingbars. Quick-release Hooks can always be installed on all slingbar models. Contact us for more information.
