 Models 00 & 02 Liko Universal Sling offers comfort, convenience and security for both patient and assistant. Appropriate for most situations, it is a good choice if you are uncertain about who is going to be lifted. Universal Sling provides good support for the entire back. The patient’s arms are held inside the sling. Correctly fitted and carefully applied, a Universal Sling gives the patient a good sense of security and a high degree of comfort. Choose the right size Universal Sling is easy to apply and remove, and if the right size is selected, it adapts to the contours of the body without the need for individual adjustment. The right choice of size is essential to ensure optimal comfort and safety. If the sling is too large, there is a risk that that the patient may glide out of it. If it is too small, it may be tight in the crotch and cause discomfort. Available in different materials Universal Sling is available in different materials. Since the patient does not normally remain seated in the sling after transfer, we recommend a version in polyester, which is very pliable to work with and durable. Easy to apply and remove. Universal Sling is also available in cotton and polyester net for those who leave the sling in the chair after transfer and who want an airier alternative. For bathing and showering, there is a plastic-coated net version that allows water to pass through, can be wiped off and dries quickly. Several different leg supports Universal Sling is ideal for lifting both with separated leg supports or when lifting with leg supports overlapped under both thighs. Several different leg supports are available for Universal Sling. Leg supports with reinforced inserts are the most common. These give a high degree of comfort, equalize the pressure and prevent leg supports from bunching under the thighs. One version has soft-padded leg supports (synthetic sheepskin) for especially pressure-sensitive patients. Liko Universal High Level Sling Universal Sling Mod. 02 is recommended for situations in which there is a problem achieving sufficient lifting height.
