 A part of the whole More and more often, municipalities are choosing to outsource traditional municipal services to private-sector companies. An example of this is the management of assistive devices in the county of Uppsala and in southwestern Skåne (Lund and 10 neighbouring municipalities). In both these areas, Liko is now responsible for the supply and service of assistive devices for lifting. This involves, for example, testing and fitting, delivery, service and inspection of patient lifts and accessories. We refer to these operations as Liko Lift Centres.
