FlexoStretch is a versatile and flexible stretcher which suits many different patients and is easy to adjust to different needs. The high maximum load makes it especially appropriate for heavier patients.
The weight-bearing section of FlexoStretch consists of
- either a full lift sheet (LiftSheet XL, is the most common alternative) which is placed in the bed before lifting, for instance before surgery, or is applied under the patient while he/she lies in the bed, by turning the patient or using the HandySheets.
- or five lift straps (LiftStrap XL 80/XL 100), which are placed under the head, shoulders, back, seat and calves. Lift straps are often chosen for hygiene purposes, for example, for bed-ridden patients, or for patients who are especially sensitive to touch on certain parts of the body. Connecting the patient's legs to two separate lift straps facilitates personal hygiene. The lift straps are most often applied by turning the patient to the side.
The width of the FlexoStretch can be easily adjusted to between 70 cm (28 in) and 95 cm (38 in) by pulling its lift arms out or in. This makes FlexoStretch an excellent choice for both normal-weight and bariatric patients. Max. load is 660 lbs (300 kg). Thanks to its aluminium design, FlexoStretch weighs no more than 32 lbs (14.5 kg).
To easily control the patient's horizontal position, FlexoStretch is equipped with a Stretch Leveller as standard.
FlexoStretch can be used together with one of the overhead lifts Likorall, MasterLift, Multirall, or mobile lifts Viking® XL, Viking® L or Golvo®.
The stretcher can be installed with a fixed connection (screw and nut) or with Liko® Quick-Release Hook System. The latter requires the lift to be equipped with the Q-link fastener or the Quick-release Hook Adapter.
