Fixed rail systems – straight or curved
A fixed rail is an ideal choice when you want to lift between two fixed points, for example, from a bed to a chair. The rail can be straight or curved, and is simple, efficient and economical.
Traverse systems
A traverse or Gantry style X-Y positioning system consists of a movable rail mounted on two fixed rails. It is often the best functional solution when a greater degree of freedom and movement are required. A traverse system allows the patient to be lifted to/from virtually anywhere in the room.
Portable motors
Portable lift motors are available to for easy transfer between different rooms.
Charging options

Liko® offers three standard types of charging options.
- Via the hand control, using a wall-mounted charger
- MultiStation, charging at a specific point along the rail
- In-rail charging, always connected to the power supply and always ready to lift.

Free-Standing systems
A free-standing system can be an excellent alternative to a fixed overhead lift. For example, you might want to use an overhead lift without having to permanently install a system in the ceiling. A free-standing system requires no structural dependance on the ceiling or walls.
Liko® has many different free-standing solutions which provide practically the same flexibility as a fixed installation, even for bariatric lifting. When equipped with wheels, FreeSpan Straight Rail is also easy to move to another location within a room or to move between different rooms.
Room to Room systems
Liko® offers a number of room-to-room solutions. With Likorall R2R, the patient is transferred between two motors through the door way, smoothly and safely. The Multirall portable motor provides the same capability using just one lift motor and a Room-to-Room Strap.
Curtain system
Liko® curtain systems provide privacy in multi-patient units and work well together with overhead lift systems.
