Bariatrics have special needs
Achieving a safe environment – both for the patient and the caregiver – is our first consideration when mobilizing or repositioning heavy individuals. Liko® has long experience in conducting effective bariatric assessments and recommending safe lifting solutions. We’ll also help to identify potential difficulties that might arise due to the wide variation of body mass distribution in obese patients
Lifting equipment that can handle heavy loads is only half the solution when working with bariatric patients. Expertly adapted lifting accessories and extensive knowledge of how handle heavy individuals in the safest possible way are just as important.
