The strongest stretcher in our assortment, UltraStretch, has a maximum load of 400 kg (880 lbs) but still weighs only 13.2 kg (29 lbs)! This makes the stretcher extremely easy to handle.
UltraStretch is used together with the overhead lift system UltraTwin, which consists of two interconnected Likorall motors. Therefore, the stretcher also has two fixture points which always have to be used together.
The overhead lift system can be either ceiling/wall mounted or free-standing in FreeSpan UltraTwin (rail width 80 cm/32 in).
Thanks to the fact that the overhead lift motors are manoeuvred individually, it is easy to adjust the patient's position and, for instance, raise or lower the head end if necessary.
The weight-bearing section of UltraStretch consists of
- either a full lift sheet (LiftSheet XL). The lift sheet is placed in the bed before lifting, for instance, before surgery, or is applied under the patient while he/she lies in the bed, using a HandySheet.
- or five lift straps (LiftStrap XL 80/XL 100), which are placed under the head, shoulders, back, seat and calves. Lift straps are often chosen for hygiene procedures, for example, for bed-ridden patients or for patients who are especially sensitive to touch on certain parts of the body. Connecting the patient's legs to two separate lift straps facilitates personal hygiene. With UltraStretch, the lift straps are most often applied using a HandySheet.
Just like little brother FlexoStretch, UltraStretch has adjustable arms, which enable individual adjustment of the suspension of the lift sheet or lift straps for each patient.
The stretcher is installed with Liko Quick-Release Hook System; therefore the lift must be equipped with Q-link fastener or Quick-release Hook Adapter.
