OctoStretch With Eight Arms

OctoStretch is one of our most common stretchers and got its name from the eight arms. It is appreciated on surgical, ICU and radiology wards, for instance, since it is quick and easy to use and takes very little space both in use and in storage.

OctoStretch can be used with a full lift sheet (available in different sizes) or with 4-5 lift straps. The latter alternative provides better access during hygiene procedures, for instance. If the patient cannot be turned to the side, HandySheets can facilitate the application of the lift sheet.

The low overall height enables maximum utilisation of the lifting height and the stretcher – if it is used together with an overhead lift – can simply be left in the hoisted-up overhead lift after completed use, taking no floor space at all.

A Stretch Leveller is available as accessory; allowing for the patient's horizontal position to be easily adjusted.

OctoStretch is very light: weighing just 7 kg (15 lbs), and has a maximum load of 200 kg (440 lbs). It can be used with many different lifts in Liko's range.

The stretcher can be installed with a fixed connection (screw and nut) or with Liko Quick-Release Hook System. The latter requires the lift to be equipped with the Q-link fastener or the Quick-release Hook Adapter.

Max. load: 200 kg (440 lbs)

  • If higher lifting capacity is needed, we recommend FlexoStretch.
  • For patients who cannot be turned due to injury or pain-sensitivity, we recommend LikoStretch 600 IC.
